Clemson's Mackenzie Kramer out due to medical reasons
Clemson’s Mackenzie Kramer is out due to medical reasons, sources told On3. There’s a possibility she may retire from college basketball, sources also indicate. Kramer no longer appears on Clemson’s official roster.
Kramer spent three seasons with Lehigh, averaging 13.9 points per game with the Mountain Hawks. Kramer was a three-time Patriot League Postseason award winner, including being named to the All-Rookie team, Second Team and First Team. She currently holds Lehigh’s single-season three-point record and finished her Lehigh career with 198 made threes.
She transferred to Clemson last season, where she averaged 8.3 points per game in 23 games and 10 starts. The 5-foot-9 senior guard stayed with the program as Clemson parted ways with head coach Amanda Butler and hired Shawn Poppie to take over.
