Fast-rising 2025 guard Nylah Wilson narrows list to 12 schools
Nylah Wilson, one of the top players in the Class of 2025, has narrowed her list to 12 finalists, she told On3.
Wilson’s final schools are: Arizona, Ole Miss, Penn State, St. John’s, UCF, Florida, Memphis, Auburn, Old Dominion, VCU, West Virginia and Pittsburgh.
“I’m a very high-intensity player,” Wilson said. “I love to play defense. I’m a lockdown defender. I can get a bucket and I just love hooping.”
Nylah Wilson, a 5-foot-9 guard out of Chester (Virginia) Thomas Dale High School is in the process of scheduling official visits to the schools. She told On3 that she’s set a visit to Arizona for Sept. 5 and Ole Miss for Sept. 21.
Nylah Wilson will take visits during the fall with the hopes of committing before the fall signing period in November.
“I want to go somewhere that I can see myself being comfortable,” Wilson said. “Really just a family environment, the style of play and the coach. I’m not really worried about distance from home or anything, so that’s not really a factor.”
Nylah Wilson broke down her experience with some of the programs with On3.
Arizona
“I’m looking forward to the great weather. We decided I’m going to a football game on that visit. The coaching staff is very welcoming. They really just give off good vibes.”
