Jordan Speiser: Top 20 women's basketball recruit commits to Kansas State

Jordan Speiser, On3’s No. 18 recruit in the 2025 class, has committed to Kansas State.
The 6-foot-1 four-star shooting guard from Warrenton (Missouri) Lutheran Of St. Charles County announced her decision Friday, picking the Wildcats over a host of national offers, including Iowa, TCU, North Carolina and Ohio State.
Before announcing her commitment, Jordan Speiser told On3 she was focused on finding a landing spot where she feels comfortable with the coaching staff. She was also looking for somewhere that felt like home.
“I want to be somewhere I can see myself fitting in, being for four years and enjoying every second of it,” Jordan Speiser told On3 in a previous interview.
The commitment is a big one for the Wildcats and coach Jeff Mittie.
Jordan Speiser led Lutheran to the Missouri Class 5 championship as a sophomore and a runner-up finish as a junior. She averaged 22.9 points, 9.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.8 steals during the 2023-2024 season.

“I describe myself as passionate and an exciting player,” Speiser said. “I want to work on improving my finishing at the basket and my defense. And I have a lot of determination. My goal is to go out on the court and score. And score a lot. I’m not going to let anybody stop me.”
Few have.
A first-team all-state choice after her junior season, Jordan Speiser was also honored as Missouri’s Gatorade Player of the Year. She scored in double figures in all 30 games of her junior season and recorded 14 double-doubles, including a 30-point, 20-rebound effort in a postseason win over Holt.
“She laughs, she haves fun with her teammates, she enjoys the moments,” Lutheran coach Erin Luttschwager told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. “Then it’s step on the court and it’s go time with her.”
