Kevin Durant marvels at UConn stars Sarah Strong, Paige Bueckers vs. South Carolina

Kevin Durant isn’t shy about sharing his opinions on his Twitter account. While he notoriously spends an inordinate amount of his free time ripping into his own trolls, Durant was watching the women’s NCAA National Championship in basketball on Sunday. And he had some positive remarks to say about the UConn Huskies. He was very impressed with Sarah Strong and Paige Bueckers in their performance against the Gamecocks.

Their average margin of victory throughout the NCAA Tournament was 32.8 points.
Sarah Strong did not disappoint, delivering a historic performance as a true freshman in her first NCAA tournament. She stuffed the stat sheet with 24 points, 15 rebounds, and five steals on Sunday. Paige Bueckers was sharp as well, pouring in 17 points while grabbing six rebounds and three assists. She had been to a Final Four every year in her UConn career, but finally got her first national championship.
