A’Ja Wilson is getting her own signature shoe, which means she needs a logo to match. On Saturday, Nike revealed the Las Vegas Aces star’s newest brand image.

The logo was revealed in a video depicting Wilson on a court in front of a diamond-incrusted basketball hoop, flexing her two WNBA Championship rings. On her neck, however, was her newest piece of ice with her logo on it.

“WNBA Champion, Olympian, two-time MVP and two-time Defensive Player of the Year. If you don’t know how I shine, now you will,” Wilson said in the promotional video. “Period.”

The relationship between Wilson and Nike has been a swift, yet successful one. After she signed with the brand as a signature athlete, which features a who’s who of names in women’s sports such as Serena Williams, Megan Rapinoe, Naomi Osaka and fellow WNBA star Sabrina Ionescu, talks quickly turned to her securing a ground-breaking signature shoe deal which is currently on the way.

Not only that, but Wilson has dipped her toes in other major market sports brands such as Gatorade, which she has signed a multi-year deal with.

That’s not all the sponsorships that Wilson has cashed in on over the past year, either as she became the first female athlete to land a partnership with Ruffles and the first WNBA player to sign on with Mountain Dew. Those came after she inked a deal with Nike upon her arrival in the W in 2018. Wilson also recently released her first book, Dear Black Girls.

All this comes as she continues to dominate on the court. Last season, she averaged a career-high 22.8 points, 9.5 rebounds and 2.2 blocks to go along with 1.4 steals en route to a second consecutive Defensive Player of the Year award. That was an impressive follow-up to a 2022 season in which Wilson’s stat line included 19.5 points, 9.4 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.9 blocks and 1.4 steals to her second MVP award en route to the Aces winning their second WNBA Championship in as many years.

In 2024, she’s been just as, if not more impressive. She’s currently leading the league with 27.8 points and 11.6 rebounds per game for the Aces. In 14 games, Wilson has logged 30 or more points four times. Her season-low scoring total currently stands at 21 points.

She most recently logged a 26-point, 16-rebound performance on Saturday against the Connecticut Sun, handing them their second loss of the season.
