CHICAGOJazzy Davidson, the No. 2 women’s basketball recruit in the 2025 class, scheduled an official visit with a Big Ten powerhouse.

Davidson, a 6-foot-1 wing from Happy Valley (Oregon) Clackamas High School set an official visit to UCLA for Oct. 11, she told On3 Friday at Nike Nationals

“I really like the coaches, just the relationships that I’m building with them,” Davidson told On3 of UCLA. “And then I got pretty close to Sienna [Betts] over at our USA trip. So, that was cool, and I would love to play with her in college. I mean, that definitely is a factor.”

Betts out of Aurora (Colorado) Grandview is the No. 3 player in the country and is committed to the Bruins.

Jazzy Davidson focused on 6 schools

Jazzy Davidson has been offered by nearly all of the top programs in the country but narrowed her list to just six: UCLA, USC, TCU, Texas, UConn and Duke. She also recently eliminated South Carolina and Tennessee from her list.

After her junior season in high school at Clackamas, Davidson had already been named a three-time Oregon Gatorade Player of the Year and helped her team win the Class 6A state championship and three straight Mt. Hood Conference titles. She’s also been tabbed as the state player of the year and will graduate as one of Oregon’s all-time leading scorers.

Up to this point, Jazzy Davidson has only visited USC, but she hopes to visit all six programs before making her final decision on a landing spot this spring.

She plays for the Cal Stars on the Nike EYBL circuit and was also one of 12 players selected to compete on the USA Basketball U18 National Team this summer.

Jazzy Davidson told On3 that NIL opportunities are a factor in her recruitment, but it’s nowhere near the top of her priorities.

“I’m definitely more lowkey about it,” Davidson said. “It’s probably not in my top three most important things for me when deciding on a school, but it is a factor now.”
