Arizona State parted ways with head women’s basketball coach Natasha Adair, sources told On3. She has been at the helm since 2022. Adair leaves the program with a 29-62 overall record. In her final season, the Sun Devils finished with a 10-22 record, including a 3-15 mark in conference play.

Adair’s head coaching career began at the College of Charleston, where she led the team to a 35-31 record over three seasons and two WBI appearances. She then moved to Georgetown, where she coached for four years, compiling a 37-54 record and two WNIT appearances.

Adair’s most successful stretch came at Delaware, where she posted a 95-58 record over five seasons, including back-to-back 20-win seasons. Under her leadership, Delaware made an NCAA Tournament appearance in 2022 for the first time in nearly a decade, marking a high point in her coaching career.

Her coaching career has seen her develop and mentor four WNBA draft picks and several players who went on to play professionally overseas.

Before becoming a head coach, Adair served as an assistant coach at both Georgetown and Wake Forest, where she contributed to the development of the programs. Adair played college basketball at Pensacola and South Florida from 1990-94.

At Arizona State, Adair was tasked with revitalizing a program that had seen some instability. The Sun Devils haven’t made an NCAA Tournament appearance since 2019.

Arizona State will now begin a search for their new head women’s basketball coach.
