Takeaways from On3's 2026 women's basketball recruiting rankings

On3 has released its initial 2026 women’s basketball recruiting rankings. Here are a few takeaways from the list.
Five 5-stars
There are five 5-stars in the Class of 2026 right now and three that are currently fighting for the top spot. Right now, small forward Saniyah Hall comes in at No. 1, but Jerzy Robinson and Kate Harpring are close behind.
Hall recently transferred to Montverde Academy and is averaging 20.1 points, 6.1 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 2.6 steals this season for one of the best teams in the nation.
Robinson isn’t far behind and has been offered by most of the elite programs in the country. The Sierra Canyon combo guard dropped 40 points this past Saturday against the Louisville Royals.
Harpring, a point guard for Marist School, is the daughter of former NBA player Matt Harpring. She was unranked about a year ago and has skyrocketed to be considered one of the top prospects in the nation.
One committed prospect
Out of 25 players that On3 ranked in the 2026 class, just one is committed to a college program. Point guard Maddyn Greenway, who comes in at No. 17, recently committed to the Kentucky Wildcats.

“When I went to Kentucky, I knew I loved the coaches and the play style,” Greenway told On3. “Then I went, and just the girls, the team and all the support that they have – obviously being such a great basketball school – after the first day, I was like, ‘I want to go here.’ I slept on it and I woke up and it was even stronger.”
Kentucky is getting a quick, versatile point guard to help replace Georgia Amoore.
Notre Dame in the mix
Of the seven top 25 prospects who have released a list of finalists, Notre Dame appears in all seven.
They’ve made the cut for No. 7 Jacy Abii, No. 13 Amari Byles, No. 6 Oliviyah Edwards, No. 18 Autumn Fleary, No. 11 Jordyn “Jayla” Jackson, No. 4 Olivia Vukosa and No. 5 McKenna Woliczko.
