Top 2025 recruit Nylah Wilson commits to Auburn
Nylah Wilson, one of the top players in the Class of 2025, has committed to Auburn, she announced on Saturday afternoon.
Nylah Wilson, a 5-foot-9 guard out of Chester (Virginia) Thomas Dale High School chose the Tigers over Arizona, Ole Miss, Penn State, St. John’s, UCF, Florida, Memphis, Old Dominion, VCU, West Virginia and Pittsburgh.
“Auburn has been very fun,” Wilson told On3 in a previous interview. “ They have a great culture. I really like the teammates, they’re very warm. I talk to the head coach pretty often, but also the assistants. It’s everybody. Everybody is great. They’re a really cultured school. I really like Auburn.”
There were plenty of factors that played into Wilson’s decision.
“I want to go somewhere that I can see myself being comfortable,” Wilson said. “Really just a family environment, the style of play and the coach. I’m not really worried about distance from home or anything, so that’s not really a factor.”

Auburn is getting a high-intensity guard in Wilson when she arrives on campus next year.
“I’m a very high-intensity player,” Wilson said. “I love to play defense. I’m a lockdown defender. I can get a bucket and I just love hooping.”
Wilson is the second 2025 commit for the Tigers, joining another highly-recruited prospect in 6-foot guard Brandie Harrod.
