Top 2026 recruit Kimora Fields has committed to the Clemson Tigers, she told On3. The 5-11 wing from Cleveland (TN) Bradley Central had offers from several high-major programs including Mississippi State, Wake Forest, Georgia and UCF

“I’ve been talking to them for a while,” Fields told On3. “I feel like they really pride themselves on their culture and I feel like it really is one big family. Even when I was just on campus for my visits, I just felt like I could see myself being there. I think that Coach [Shawn] Poppie is trying to do really great things with the program. I think that they’re very authentic. I feel like they’re very real. I could truly tell that they were real and authentic towards me and I felt like that was a really big part. The main thing really was just feeling like being a part of a family.”

Fields committed to Clemson before taking any official visits – and fairly early on in the process. She just knew.

“I feel like it truly was a ‘you just know’ kind of thing,” Fields said. “It was really early in the process, but I just felt like I already knew my decision. I had known for quite some time. I was kind of already leaning towards there. It took a lot of prayer and a lot of patience, and I just felt like I might as well make the decision.”

Clemson is getting a versatile player in Fields who wants to play multiple positions.

“I feel like I can be used everywhere,” Fields said. “I feel like I can play both outside and inside. I finish very well, am good around the basket, and I can shoot outside. I feel like that was really a big thing – finding a program where I could not be just stuck in one position. I just feel like I’m a very strong and versatile player.”
