Highly touted 2025 prospect Zhen Craft of Forestville (Maryland0) Bishop McNamara has committed to the Georgia Bulldogs, she told On3.

Craft chose Georgia over Florida State, Miami, Virginia Tech, Florida and Virginia. When she took her unofficial visit with the Bulldogs, she just knew.

“When I went on my unofficial, it felt like home immediately,” Craft told On3. “I really love the coaching staff. We all really bonded well. I bonded really well with the team too. I just felt comfortable. That was a really big thing for me. Wherever I go, I wanted it to feel like home and Georgia definitely checked all those boxes for me…I feel like they’re moving in the right direction to do some big things.”

Georgia has been involved in her recruitment for a while, so the relationships she had with the coaching staff played a significant role in her decision.

“They’ve been recruiting me for so long. Getting to know them, not just on a surface level, but personally and just being able to laugh and joke with them has been great. They get along really well with my parents as well, so that was a big thing. I just love them.”

Zhen Craft is a versatile player who loved the opportunities she’d have with the Bulldogs when she gets to college.

“They do a lot of spacing out and they have a lot of bigs in the post, so I feel like I could be able to play inside and outside with my versatility,” Craft said. “They’re moving in the right direction to change some things around. I feel like I could fit in pretty well.”

While Zhen Craft still has one year of high school before she arrives on campus, there’s so much about the program that she’s looking forward to experiencing.

“The school spirit, the atmosphere, Georgia football – Georgia sports in general,” Craft said of what she’s most excited about. “They have a really great community and I was able to see that when I went down on my unofficial, so I’m definitely excited about the fan base, and just the opportunities I’ll have for myself.”
