Bio
McDowell High School, located in Marion, North Carolina, serves approximately 1,700 students in grades 9 through 12. Established in 1971, it is the sole high school in McDowell County and is part of the McDowell County School System. The school's colors are royal blue, silver, and scarlet, and its mascot is the Titan. McDowell High offers a variety of extracurricular activities, including a student-run newspaper, the Iliad, and a literary magazine, The Muses.
