For the first time this season, Auburn (3-0) gets on the road and will look to hand Enterprise (3-0) its first loss. The No. 3 Tigers took down ranked Opelika at home 28-21 last week, speared by junior running back Omar Mabson, who has been the catalyst on offense thus far. Enterprise will counter with an elite defense that features Auburn safety commit Eric Winters and Ohio State EDGE commit Zion Grady. The Wildcats defeated ranked Dothan on the road last week and are looking to deliver a big statement in the coming days. The Massey Ratings predict Auburn to win 28-21.

#8 Spanish Fort vs. #6 Saraland — Friday, Sept. 13
Previous Meeting: Saraland 49, Spanish Fort 7 (2023)
Texas QB commit K.J. Lacey hasn’t skipped a beat after taking Saraland (3-0) to a state title game last season, throwing for 743 yards and 10 TDs through three games so far in 2024. The Spartans have excelled on both sides of the ball, outscoring its last two opponents 90-13. Spanish Fort (3-0) already has a pair of wins on the road and has also kept offenses in check thus far. The Toros, led by senior running back EJ King, will look for a major upset on Friday night. The Massey Ratings predict a 38-14 victory for the Spartans.
#1 Central vs. #16 Dothan — Friday, Sept. 13
Previous Meeting: Central 48, Dothan 14 (2023)
The top-ranked Red Devils (3-0) have left no doubt thus far, steamrolling its opposition to 47, 18 and 54-point victories. Miami WR commit Daylyn Upshaw already has six touchdowns and looks like one of the top pass-catchers in the state. Dothan (2-1) will be the toughest test of the season for Central thus far, though. The No. 16 Wolves fell to No. 7 Enterprise by a touchdown last week and will try to use its top-10 offense in the state to hang with the Devils for four quarters on Friday. The Massey Ratings predict a 42-16 win for Central.
#24 Vestavia Hills vs. #15 Hillcrest — Friday, Sept. 13
Previous Meeting: N/A
It’s been a brutal start for Vestavia Hills (0-3) thus far. The Rebels are yet to crack 20 points in a game, a recipe for failure when you open the season against three ranked opponents. They nearly got over the hump last week, but couldn’t get past No. 4 Hewitt-Trussville. Hillcrest (2-1) is looking to rebound from a rough loss at home to No. 9 Hoover last week and land its first ranked win of the season. The Massey Ratings like the road team to finally get in the win column and defeat Hillcrest 28-24.
