One of the top high school football programs in the nation is welcoming an impressive ballhawk to its 2025 roster.

Amauri Polydor, a 6-foot-1, 175-pound cornerback out of Lanham, Md., announced on Friday that he is transferring from Mt. Zion Prep to St. Frances Academy for his senior season:

The move for Polydor follows an impressive junior season that saw him intercept nine passes and deflect plenty more. He also tallied over 30 total tackles for a Mt. Zion Prep team that finished with just three victories last season.

He’ll now head to St. Frances, one of the more well-known football programs in the DMV and the nation. Playing the nation’s third-toughest schedule, according to the Massey Ratings, the Panthers won seven games a season ago and ranked as the No. 19 team in the nation, per the On3 Composite.

Polydor is the No. 42 CB and the No. 9 player in Maryland in the 2026 cycle, according to the On300. He’s now set to join a loaded SFA roster that includes the likes of Maryland five-star EDGE commit Zion Elee, elite four-star safety Jireh Edwards, Maryland three-star tight end commit Damon Hall, Auburn three-star safety commit Wayne Henry, Syracuse three-star linebacker commit Maurice Medley and Maryland three-star CB commit Khmari Bing.

The 2025 cycle saw St. Frances continue to pump out top prospects, too. Auburn head coach Hugh Freeze collected a major haul from the program, signing four-star CB Blake Woodby, four-star defensive lineman Darrion Smith and three-star linebacker Bryce Deas.

SFA four-star safety Byron Baldwin signed with Indiana, while three-star wide receiver Jeremiah Koger (USF) and three-star safety Dwayne Kelly (Toledo) are also set to begin their Division I careers this coming fall.

Polydor currently holds offers from the likes of South Carolina, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Syracuse, Michigan State and Indiana.
