Auburn RB commit Alvin Henderson puts up more video game numbers
Elba (Ala.) beat Kinston (Ala.) 68-28 Friday night — in large part due to another electric performance from senior running back and four-star Auburn commit Alvin Henderson.
Henderson rushed for 354 yards and seven touchdowns in the win.
The 5-foot-9, 195-pound tailback made headlines last week when he ran for 435 yards and 10 touchdowns in a shocking 80-78 loss. In that game, Henderson broke the Alabama state record for single-game touchdowns and the record for single-game points with 66.
Now through just two games, Henderson has racked up 789 yards and 17 touchdowns on 59 carries.
Henderson has been committed to Auburn since he flipped to the Tigers from Penn State on June 21. He had initially pledged to the Nittany Lions in the spring.
Since choosing the in-state squad, Henderson has been one of the lead recruiters in Auburn’s 2025 recruiting class. Most notably, he has been working hard to flip elite Notre Dame quarterback commit Deuce Knight away from the Irish.

The 5-foot-9, 195-pound Henderson is the nation’s No. 154 overall prospect, No. 9 running back and No. 13 recruit from Alabama in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
“Alvin Henderson is the most productive of the top running back prospects in this cycle coming out of his junior season. He plays at a lower level in Alabama, but he is utterly dominant against that competition, as you would expect from a blue-chip prospect,” On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power said this spring.
“Overall, he’s a well-rounded and reliable running back. He’s going to be a guy who you can count on to maximize his blocking and pick up consistent yards. He’s a highly productive running back prospect.”
