Bishop Gorman Football: Top NFL Draft pick alumni

Since bursting onto the national scene in the mid-2000s, Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman has cemented itself as one of the country’s premier high school football powers.
The Gaels have won 14 state championships since 2007 in three different classifications, four national championships (including 2023) and are perennially featured on ESPN as one of the nation’s programs to watch. In that time, they’ve also produced dozens of Division I football players and a number of NFL Draft picks.
Below are the top alumni and NFL Draft picks to come through Bishop Gorman in the recruiting media era:
1) OT Ronnie Stanley
Draft Position: 2016 Round 1, Pick 6 (Baltimore Ravens)
College: Notre Dame
Ronnie Stanley was selected sixth overall in the 2016 Draft by the Baltimore Ravens after starting more than 40 games at Notre Dame over four years, as well as being named a Consensus All-American after the 2015 season. In 2020, he signed an extension with the Ravens that made him the highest-paid offensive lineman in the NFL, where he’s started 87 games — all with Baltimore.
2) WR Rome Odunze
Draft Position: 2024 Round 1, Pick 9 (Chicago Bears)
College: Washington
Rome Odunze broke out as a sophomore at Washington, hauling on 41 passes for 415 yards and four touchdowns. Over the next two seasons, he was named First-Team All-Pac 12 twice and a consensus All-American in 2023 after leading the NCAA in receiving yards (1,640) and the Pac-12 in receptions (92).
3) RB DeMarco Murray
Draft Position: 2011 Round 3, Pick 71 (Dallas Cowboys)
College: Oklahoma
DeMarco Murray had 3,685 career rushing yards with 50 touchdowns, 157 career catches with 13 receiving touchdowns, and 1,462 kickoff return yards with two touchdowns over four years. He was a four-time Academic All-Big 12 honoree and a two-time All-Big 12 performer before being drafted by Dallas. He’s still the all-time leader in total touchdowns, all-purpose yards, receiving yards for a running backs and kickoff return average in the OU record books.
4) WR Cedric Tillman
Draft Position: 2024 Round 3, Pick 74 (Cleveland Browns)
College: Tennessee
An unheralded three-star recruit, Cedric Tillman jumped onto the scene in 2021 when he became a full-time starter for the Vols. During his junior year, he amassed 64 receptions for 1,081 yards and 12 touchdowns. Instead of declaring for the NFL Draft, he returned to Rocky Top, where finished his final season with 37 receptions for 417 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns in six games while battling an ankle injury.
5) SAF Jaden Hicks
Draft Position: 2024 Round 4, Pick 133 (Kansas City Chiefs)
College: Washington State
As a redshirt freshman in 2022, Jaden Hicks started 11 of 13 games and had 76 tackles, one interception and one sack. He returned to The Palouse in 2023, finishing his junior season with 79 tackles and two interceptions before declaring for the draft.
6) QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson
Draft Position: 2023 Round 5, Pick 140 (Cleveland Browns)
College: UCLA

Dorian Thompson-Robinson started 48 games over five seasons for the Bruins, becoming one of their all-time leading passers in the process. Over his final two years, he completed over 66% of his passes while throwing for nearly 6,000 yards and 48 touchdowns. He was also a major threat on the ground, totaling over 1,200 rushing yards and 21 TDs there.
7) TE Brevin Jordan
Draft Position: 2024 Round 5, Pick 147 (Houston Texas)
College: Miami
A highly-touted high school prospect, Brevin Jordan committed to Miami over offers from programs across the country. In three years with the Hurricanes, he was named All-ACC three times while catching 105 balls for 1,358 yards and 13 touchdowns in 31 games.
8) CB Kyu Blu Kelly
Draft Position: 2023 Round 5, Pick 157 (Baltimore Ravens)
College: Stanford
Kyu Blu Kelly became a starter at Stanford four games into his freshman season and was named honorable mention All-Pac-12 as a sophomore. As a junior, he was named second team All-Pac-12 after making 58 tackles with a league-high 13 passes defended and two interceptions, and was again second-team All-Pac-12 in 2023 as a senior before entering the Draft.
9) LB Edefuan Ulofoshio
Draft Position: 2024 Round 5, Pick 160 (Buffalo Bills)
College: Washington
Edefuan Ulofoshio started his career at Washington as a walk-on after a stellar senior season with the Gaels where he notched 100 total tackles. He broke onto the scene as a sophomore in 2019 with the Huskies, finishing with 47 tackles, three sacks, and a forced fumble. And despite injuries over his final three seasons, he earned All-Pac-12 honors in both 2020 and 2023, as well as being named a second-team All-American and semifinalist for the Butkus Award.
10) WR Jalen Nailor
Draft Position: 2022 Round 6, Pick 191 (Minnesota Vikings)
College: Michigan State
Jalen Nailor was a four-time state track champion at Gorman, along with being a star on the gridiron where he totaled more than 2,000 career yards and 28 touchdowns. After three seasons at Michigan State, where he put up more than 1,400 receiving yards and 12 scores, he declared for the 2022 NFL Draft.
