California High School Football State Championship 2024 - Open Division, Regional Finals Schedules

While there are only 29 games left in the 2024 California high school football season, these matches have much weight. Every team must feel the pressure of delivering a fantastic performance because their goal of winning the state championship is within reach.

Here is the list of competitors for all California Interscholastic Federation divisions, from the Open Division to Division 7-A. Some teams listed here are part of the California On3 Composite Team Rankings Top 25. Likewise, all times listed here are in Pacific Standard Time.

Mater Dei vs. De La Salle – Open Division State Championship

The Mater Dei Monarchs, the top National On3 Composite Team Rankings team, will face the De La Salle Spartans for the Open Division State Championship. Their match will be at Saddleback College on Dec. 14, 8 p.m.

In addition to a shot at winning the crown, both teams will put their 12-0 record on the line. Mater Dei booked their spot in this California high school football showdown by defeating their Southern Coast rivals, St. John Bosco Braves. Meanwhile, De La Salle got here after beating the Pittsburg Pirates. The Monarchs and the Spartans are first and third in the California On3 Composite Rankings.

California High School Football – Division 1-AA and 1-A Regional Finals Schedules

The Folsom Bulldogs and the Pittsburg Pirates will compete in the regional finals of the North Section of Division 1-AA, and their records are not far apart. Folsom is 12-1, with their only loss coming against Junipero Serra. Meanwhile, Pittsburg (11-2) lost to the Braves and De La Salle. Their game will be on Dec. 6 at 7:30 p.m.

Newbury Park will face Lincoln-San Diego in the other Division 1-AA pairing for the South Section. The Panthers will put their undefeated record on the line against the 10-2 Hornets in the game on Friday, Dec. 6, 8 p.m. at Southwestern College.

For Division 1-A’s North Region, St. Ignatius (10-2) will face Central Fresno (11-2) on Dec. 7 at 6 p.m. As for 1-A South, Granite Hills (11-2) will battle with Edison (10-4) on Dec. 7, 7 p.m., at Huntington Beach High School.

Division 2-AA and 2-A Regional Finals Schedules

For 2-AA North, Grant-Sacramento (10-3) and St. Francis (10-3) will try to keep their title hopes alive. They will clash on Dec. 6 at 7:30 p.m. Meanwhile, Narbonne (7-6) and Pacifica (10-4) will compete for 2-AA South. This California high school football contest will be on Dec. 6 at 7 p.m.

Meanwhile, 2-A North will feature Wilcox (11-2) visiting Twelve Bridges (13-0) on Dec. 7 at 6 p.m. For 2-A South, Bakersfield Christian (11-2) will compete with Palos Verdes at South Torrance High School on Dec. 7 at 7 p.m.
