1. Harvard-Westlake
Harvard-Westlake has dominated competition within and outside of the state borders this season, amassing a 28-1 record through mid-February. The lone loss for the Wolverines came against Timpview (Utah) in early December. Since then, H-W has rattled off 19 consecutive victories — including wins over Bartlett (Tenn.), No. 12 JSerra Catholic, Perry (Ariz.), Gonzaga (D.C.) and more. A showdown with No. 5 Notre Dame is on deck for Friday. The Wolverines won each of the two previous matchups with the Knights — most recently in a 67-64 thriller on Feb. 5.
2. Roosevelt
Just behind Harvard-Westlake in both the California and national rankings is Roosevelt. With a 28-2 record, the Mustangs have not lost a game since facing Washington D.C.’s No. 1 team — Gonzaga – on Jan. 20. Since then, Roosevelt has picked up a huge win over Bishop Gorman (Nev.) and beat No. 9 Redondo Union on Tuesday. The Mustangs will play No. 4 Sierra Canyon on Friday.
3. St. John Bosco
Twenty-four wins and just five losses have the St. John Bosco Braves ranked No. 3 in the Golden State and No. 22 in America. Bosco bounced back from a loss last Friday to Redondo Union by beating No. 4 Sierra Canyon 60-55 on Tuesday as home underdogs. The Braves will play No. 19 Heritage Christian on Friday — having won the prior matchup 52-43.
4. Sierra Canyon
Another national top 25 squad, Sierra Canyon has put together a 22-6 resume that has seen wins over the likes of Coronado (Nev.), Bartlett (Tenn.) and nationally-ranked Grayson (Ga.). The Trailblazers lost last time out to St. John Bosco and will look to rebound against No. 2 Roosevelt on Friday.
5. Notre Dame
Notre Dame has won three straight games since falling to top-ranked Harvard-Westlake earlier this month. The Knights have successively beaten JSerra Catholic, La Miarada and Santa Margarita Catholic — three ranked win within the state. They will look to keep the momentum going in a rematch with Harvard-Westlake this Friday.
6. Prolific Prep
Its last two times out, Prolific Prep beat Utah Prep (Utah) and St. Vincent-St. Mary (Ohio) in what are currently the last two scheduled games of the season for the Crew. In the game against Utah Prep, Kansas signee Darryn Peterson carried a whopping 58 of Prolific’s 88 points.
7. St. Joseph
At No. 7, California has another one-loss program. Santa Maria St. Joseph lost all the way back in December and has won 18 straight games since that slip-up. Included in that run are wins over Milton (Ga.), Holy Innocents (Ga.) and Salesian College Prep. Up next is San Joaquin Memorial on Friday.

8. Archbishop Riordan
Up in Northern California, Archbishop Riordan is also sitting with just one loss on the year. The Crusaders fell to JSerra Catholic by five points on Dec. 30 and has since won 14 consecutive games. They have yet to face a ranked squad since that game against JSerra, and will close the regular season without doing so as Riordan ended with a win over St. Ignatius College Prep on Tuesday.
9. Redondo Union
Redondo Union has faced an impressively difficult schedule en route to a 21-5 record. The Sea Hawks have lost three out of their last four games, however, in games against Mira Costa, Sierra Canyon and Roosevelt. But, Union pulled off the upset over St. John Bosco on Tuesday in a 77-75 victory on the road.
10. Santa Margarita Catholic
With a 22-7 record, Santa Margarita ranks No. 10 in the state of California and No. 61 in the national rankings. The Eagles still have pending games against La Mirada and Harvard-Westlake as they look to bounce back from consecutive losses to JSerra Catholic and Notre Dame.
