Early in the second quarter of Tuesday’s McDonald’s All-American Game, Duke forward signee Cameron Boozer made his presence known. He juked fellow top recruit AJ Dybantsa and threw down a ferocious dunk.

Boozer managed to throw Dybantsa off-balance at the top of the key before driving to the hoop. That’s when he threw down the slam dunk to give the East team a spark in the early part of the game.

Boozer and Dybantsa are just two of the highly touted recruits playing in Tuesday’s All-American Game. It remained a close game through the first half as the East and West traded blows.

Boozer is a Five Star Plus+ recruit, meaning he’s one of the only players ranked by all four major recruiting media companies as a five star. He’s the No. 2 overall player from the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Boozer is getting ready to take his talents to Duke next year, stepping onto the same court his father did, and will do so with his brother, Cayden, who also signed with the Blue Devils. Cayden is the No. 22-ranked player in the country, according to the On3 Industry Ranking.

The Boozer twins anchor Duke’s No. 2-ranked recruiting class, according to the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Ranking. But to play in the McDonald’s All-American Game, Cameron said, is a great experience.

“I think just sharing the court with him and other great players,” Boozer said of playing in the game with Cayden. “… Being able to see my brother shine and being able to shine together is an amazing feeling.”

Boozer possesses a smooth jump shot, but also goes to work on defense. Those are just two of the traits that stand out to On3’s Scouting and Rankings team, though.

“Cameron Boozer plays at one level, never too high or never too low. He plays with excellent balance in all parts of the game. The jump shot has a smooth release. He is an excellent defensive rebounder and a high-level outlet passer. He has strong hands when he gathers the ball. Does not mind getting physical and will play with and through contact. He has good straight-line athleticism and runs the floor very well. Has average burst in short space, but he understands angles and rotations on the defensive end very well. Never rushed. Good pace.”
