Week 5 of the high school football season in Colorado is in the books, and the state rankings have been updated to reflect those results.

While the top two teams — Cherry Creek and Valor Christian — remain the same, there has been plenty of shakeup elsewhere after some surprising upset wins and losses.

Below are the top 25 teams in the state after Week 6, according to the On3 Massey Ratings.

The On3 Massey Ratings — which were officially used during the BCS era and have generated college high school sports team rankings since 1995 — rank sports teams by analyzing game outcomes, strength of schedule and margin of victory.

1. Cherry Creek
A week after going down to Texas and upsetting top-25 Highland Park, the Bruins came back to a top-10 Colorado matchup with Pine Creek. In a low-scoring battle, they escaped with a 21-14 win to stay atop the rankings.

2. Valor Christian
The Eagles dominated No. 5 Ralston Valley en route to a 34-17 victory and remain unblemished through five games. A huge test comes this weekend though, as they’ll host No. 4 Mountain Vista in what the On3 Massey Ratings projects as a 33-27 Valor Christian victory.

3. Columbine (+1)
Columbine moved to 5-0 after dismantling Heritage 44-7 on Friday night. The Rebels have now scored 35-plus points in three consecutive games and will look to keep it going on Saturday at Denver East.

4. Mountain Vista (-1)
The Eagles smoked Mountain Vista 55-6 and have yet to give up more than six points in a game this season while averaging 54 points per contest. Their matchup versus Valor Christian will challenge them like no team has to this point, though.

5. Ralston Valley
Following three dominant defensive performances in Week 2-4, the Mustangs ran into a buzz saw against Valor Christian’s offense. They’ll look to right the ship this week against No. 9 Chatfield in what should be a terrific game.

6. Legend (+2)
Legend has put together back-to-back shutouts in recent weeks, beating Prairie View 55-0 before shutting down previously unbeaten Castle View 30-0. A top-10 game against Pine Creek, one of the state’s perennial powers, awaits on Saturday.

7. Pine Creek (-1)
The Eagles suffered their second loss of the season on Friday night to a very good Cherry Creek squad, nearly pulling off the upset. They won’t have any time to look back on that one with No. 6 Legend looking to keep their winning ways going.

8. Chatfield (+1)
Led by solid units on both sides of the ball, Chatfield sits at 5-0 after wins over Douglas County, Brighton, Eaglecrest, Horizon and Dakota Ridge. Their biggest test of the season so far comes this week though when they host Ralston Valley on Thursday night.

9. Fairview (+1)
The Knights have shut out three opponents in a row, while racking up 161 points over the past few weeks. After beating top-25 Legacy and Arvada West in the first two weeks, they’re not projected to play another ranked team the rest of the season.

10. Arapahoe (+2)
After a 2-2 start to the season, Arapahoe is back on the right side of .500 after beating Rock Canyon 28-7 at home Thursday night. Top-25 showdowns with Grandview (No. 18) and Cherry Creek (No. 1) are next on the docket.
