Cordarrelle Patterson and Trent Brown donate cleats to South Carolina high school football team

As Cordarrelle Patterson and Trent Brown continue their professional football careers, they are supporting those who are dreaming of making it to the big leagues one day. As posted on the official X/Twitter account of the Keenan Raiders, the NFL veterans donated cleats for their players.
They wrote, “Huge shoutout to @ceeflashpee84 & @Trent for looking out for our football players at WJ Keenan High School! We appreciate the cleats and the love that you guys have shown towards our program!!”
Trent Brown and Cordarrelle Patterson were part of the New England Patriots roster that won Super Bowl LIII over the Los Angeles Rams. However, they did not start their careers with the six-time Super Bowl champions.
Patterson, a South Carolina native who played high school football for Northwestern, entered the league in 2013 as a first-round pick for the Minnesota Vikings. In addition to the Vikings and the Patriots, the wide receiver/running back/kick returner played for four more teams. In 12 NFL seasons, Patterson is a seven-time All-Pro and four-time Pro Bowl footballer who currently plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Meanwhile, Brown was a 2015 seventh-round pick by the San Francisco 49ers. However, he earned his lone Pro Bowl selection in 2019 when he played for the then-Oakland Raiders. The offensive tackle currently plays for the Houston Texans, a full-circle moment because he was born in the Lone Star State. However, he played high school football at Georgia’s Westover.
Cordarrelle Patterson and Trent Brown helped a team that finished the 2024 South Carolina high school football season at 8-5. They made it to the third round of the South Carolina Class AAA state tournament but lost to the Loris Lions. That outcome had them at 86th in the state’s On3 Composite Team Rankings.
