Dolphins LB Anthony Walker Jr. Gifted Teammates with High School Football Jersey Replicas
Before NFL players dominated the pros, they were once high school football prospects dreaming of making it big time. For the Miami Dolphins players, Anthony Walker Jr. gave them gifts that would help them reminisce about those days.
Through All Stars Miami, the veteran linebacker had replicas of his teammates’ high school football jerseys made. The Dolphins players enjoyed the meaningful present, as seen on the video shared by the FinsXtra account on X/Twitter.
“I wanted to give back to my guys, the team. I wanted to do something different for Christmas this year. So, I know everybody remembers their high school days when we first started getting into it. We’re taking it seriously,” Walker revealed as the inspiration behind his gifts.
Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was one of the players featured in the video. He smiled while opening the package containing a customized jersey of his alma mater, Hawaii’s Saint Louis School. The one-time Pro Bowl QB dominated with the Crusaders, finishing with 2,583 yards and 33 touchdowns in his first season.
