Dynamic Prep (Texas) defeats Bishop McNamara (Md.) at Jordan Holiday Classic
Some of the top high school basketball programs are in New York this weekend to compete in the 2024 Jordan Holiday Classic.
On Saturday evening, Dynamic Prep (Texas) notched an impressive 75-56 victory over Bishop McNamara.
Leading the way for the Bearcats was the elite trio of Jacobe Coleman, four-star center Jaden Toombs and four-star small forward Jermaine O’Neal Jr. Coleman led with 16 points on 7-11 shooting, while Toombs notched 14 points, 10 rebounds and six assists. O’Neal finished with 11 points and four assists. All three players racked up four steals a piece.
Dynamic shot over 51 percent from the floor, which included 7-19 from 3-point range. The Bearcats never trailed, despite McNamara’s Prince-Alexander Moody and Qayden Samuels combining for 44 points.

The Bearcats won the battle in the paint 42-20 and also held McNamara to just six points off the bench. The Mustangs committed 24 turnovers on Saturday.
With the victory, Dynamic Prep is now up to 17 wins on the season. The Bearcats already have wins over the likes of Link Academy (Mo.), Combine Academy (N.C.), DME Academy (Fla.) and The Bullis School (Md.). They currently rank No. 61 in the nation and No. 6 in Texas, according to the On3 Composite Rankings.
Dynamic will be back in action on Sunday morning against Lawrence Woodmere Academy (N.Y.) on the final day of the Jordan Holiday Classic. Other teams in action include Link Academy, Columbus (Fla.), St. Frances Academy (Md.) and Imhotep Institute (Pa.).
