Eleven high school football coaches selected for Tampa Bay Buccaneers National Coaching Academy

A handful of high school football coaches will have a chance to enhance their knowledge of the sport and hone their craft at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers National Coaching Academy. This year’s coaching camp will be on May 5-11 at the team’s AdventHealth Training Center.
The high school coaches are among the 25 finalists who were selected from nearly 1,000 applicants. Joining these high school mentors are eight coaches in college football and five coaches in professional leagues outside the National Football League. All coaches selected have at least three years of football coaching experience
The selected pro, college, and high school football coaches will participate in meetings and sessions that will enhance their craft. Likewise, they will attend masterclasses with former Buccaneers head coaches Tony Dungy, Jon Gruden, and Bruce Arians.
Furthermore, current Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles and general manager Jason Licht will also impart their wisdom to the participants. Out of the 25 finalists, the Buccaneers will select five candidates for the Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship after the team’s minicamp.
