USA Basketball announced the 12 high school basketball players who will comprise the 2025 Nike Hoop Summit roster. On April 12, these players will face a team featuring the top 19-and-under international players at Moda Center in Portland, Oregon.

Team USA won’t be lacking in firepower because 11 of the 12 players are among the top 25 prospects from the class of 2025 based on the On3 Industry Rankings. The only one outside the Top 25, Malachi Moreno, is the 32nd-best college-bound prospect. Likewise, everyone except Moreno has represented the United States in previous international competitions.

Top-ranked prospect AJ Dybantsa, second-ranked Cameron Boozer, and fourth-ranked Nate Ament will headline the stacked roster. They were part of the high school basketball selection that won gold in the 2024 FIBA U17 Men’s World Cup.

Also included in that championship team and the 2025 Nike Hoop Summit roster are Koa Peat (No. 6), Chris Cenac Jr. (No. 7), Jalen Haralson (No. 15), and Cayden Boozer (No. 23). Koa, the son of NFL offensive tackle Andrus Peat, is the lone three-time FIBA gold medalist in this roster. He earned championships in the 2022 U17 Men’s World Cup in Spain and the 2023 U16 Men’s AmeriCup in Mexico.

Meanwhile, Mikel Brown Jr. (No. 9), Darius Acuff Jr. (No. 10), Jasper Johnson (No. 14), and Nikolas Khamenia (No. 24) will join the Nike Hoop Summit squad a year after leading Team USA to a gold medal finish in the FIBA U18 Men’s AmeriCup in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Khamenia also has a gold medal from the 2024 FIBA 3×3 U18 Men’s World Cup in Hungary.

Likewise, all 12 players have participated in at least one USA Basketball Men’s Junior National Team minicamp. Peat has the most minicamps with five, followed by Haralson and Brown Jr. with four apiece.

Chaminade College Prep’s Frank Bennett will be the head coach of the 2025 Nike Hoop Summit boys basketball squad. Bolingbrook High School’s Rob Brost and former NBA player Charlie Ward (Florida High) will be Bennett’s deputies.
