On Tuesday night, a West Virginia high school boys basketball game was called with just 15 seconds remaining as a fight broke out between the two teams.
With Mount View leading Man 47-43, a foul was called that led to a Mount View player shoving a Man player. The two were somewhat separated, but looked to still be speaking to each other as players and referees attempted to diffuse the situation.
All hell broke loose once the Mount View player was being led back to the bench by his coach. The Man player quickly made a beeline from half court and jumped into the Mount View bench, leading to a sea of bodies and punches.
The game did not resume and Mount View won 47-43. Senior guard ZyMir Martin had 16 points and eight rebounds in the victory for the Golden Knights. The teams are not scheduled to face each other again in the regular season.
