Fishers (Ind.) continues to cement its status as one of the nation’s top high school basketball programs. The Tigers made more history on Saturday night.

Facing a game Crown Point squad, Fishers bullied its way to a 73-48 victory to claim its second straight 4A Northern Semistate championship. The Tigers have now won 43 games in a row, dating back to last season.

Despite a slower start in a game that entered the second quarter tied up at 16, Fishers swiftly got in a groove that proved to be all too much for Crown Point. Star sophomore point guard Jason Gardner Jr. once again led the way for Fishers.

The 5-foot-11, 165-pounder, who ranks as the No. 35 prospect in the 2027 cycle, led the way with 18 points. The Tigers had three in double-figures, as Justin Kirby poured in 16 points while Millen McCartney added 14.

After taking a nine-point lead into halftime, Fishers bulldozed the Bulldogs in the second half en route to the win. The Tigers defeated Crown Point in semistate last season, too.

Coming off a 2024 state title, Fishers continues to look like the favorite to repeat as the top team in the Hoosier State. It’s now another step closer to adding more gold to its trophy case. The Tigers are 30-0 this season and rank as the No. 12 team in the nation, according to the On3 Composite Rankings.

Crown Point’s Mason Darrell led all scorers with 24 points on Saturday night. Despite the loss, the Bulldogs put together an impressive 23-3 season and rank as the No. 10 team in Indiana.
