Florida dominates inaugural USA Today Sports Super 25 high school flag football rankings

USA Today released its final Super 25 rankings for high school flag football and 21 out of the top 25 schools are from Florida. Alonso High School was the nation’s best team after finishing the season with a 20-2 record and a Florida Class 4A state championship. Likewise, being the number one squad also makes the Ravens the inaugural de facto national champions.
Furthermore, high school flag football teams from the Sunshine State occupy the top ten spots. Seminole Ridge ranked second with a 17-2 record, while Robinson is third at 19-3. Meanwhile, the non-Florida teams in the list are from Mississippi, Tennessee, and New York (two teams).
