The 2024-25 Florida high school boys basketball season moves into the next competition phase as state tournaments commence soon. The Class 7A state championship will start on Thursday, February 12, with 32 teams competing for basketball supremacy.

Headlining the Class 7A competition is Columbus High School, the nation’s top team in the On3 Composite Team Rankings. While they are the favorites, the talent level in Florida high school basketball makes it a tough journey for the Explorers.

Likewise, Columbus’ fellow top seed, Windermere, is 13th in the On3 rankings. Meanwhile, Oak Ridge, the second seed in Region 2, ranks sixth. They are just three teams vying to play during the state semifinal on March 7 and the state championship game on March 8.

Here’s the Florida high school boys basketball Class 7A state championship tournament bracket, sanctioned by the Florida High School Athletic Association.
