Four high school basketball seniors included in USA Basketball's Under-19 Junior National Team

Four high school basketball standouts complete the 12-man roster for Team USA’s 2025 FIBA Under-19 World Cup in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Leading the Class of 2026 contingent is Tyran Stokes, the top-ranked prospect from Notre Dame High School. During his junior year with the Knights, Stokes averaged 21 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 1.5 steals per game. The 6-foot-7 small forward also led the Sherman Oaks-based squad to a 28-8 record and the Regional Finals of the California Interscholastic Federation Open Division.
Joining Stokes is Brandon McCoy Jr., the class’s No. 2 prospect out of St. John Bosco. The 6-foot-5 combo guard finished the 2024-25 high school basketball season averaging 16.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 3.8 steals per game. His leadership helped the Braves compile a 26-7 record.
Jordan Smith Jr. is another high school basketball prospect in USA Basketball’s Under-19 squad. The 6-foot-2 baller from St. Paul VI Catholic High School is the fourth-best prospect and the top shooting guard from the Class of 2026.
Finally, Caleb Holt completes the high school basketball players in the U19 team. The transferee from Grayson to Prolific Prep averaged 18.2 points, 8.7 rebounds, 6.2 assists, and 2.8 steals per game during his junior season. Those numbers helped him rank fifth among the senior prospects.
