Week 6 of the Georgia high school football season was a tumultuous one due to the effects of Hurricane Helene. A handful of games were canceled, while a number of others were postponed.

But everything looks to be back on schedule this week, with a number of key matchups taking place across the state. That includes a huge top-10 battle between No. 1 Lee County and No. 9 Coffee.

Below are the top games to keep an eye on in the Peach State this week and predictions for each from the On3 Massey Ratings:

The On3 Massey Ratings — which were officially used during the BCS era and have generated college high school sports team rankings since 1995 — rank sports teams by analyzing game outcomes, strength of schedule and margin of victory.

#9 Coffee vs. #1 Lee County — Friday, Oct. 4
Lee County is now the top-ranked team in Georgia following an impressive 12-point win at home over then-top-five Thomas County Central. The Trojans improved to 6-0 with the victory and now have three ranked victories on their tally. They’ll look to make it four on Friday when undefeated Coffee comes to town. The ninth-ranked Trojans have played a much-less daunting schedule than its upcoming opponent, but their defense has looked the part, allowing just 9.3 points per game in its six wins. Lee County’s offense ranks No. 1 in the state, while Coffee’s defense ranks No. 4, per the Massey Ratings.
Massey Ratings Prediction: Lee County 35, Coffee 20

#12 Collins Hill vs. #5 Buford — Friday, Oct. 4
Many chalked Collins Hills’ season-opening upset victory over top-10 Grayson as nothing more than a letdown for the home team, but the Eagles have continued to prove that they’re up to snuff and are capable of competing with the state’s best. They shutout Mountain View 51-0 last time out and are now 6-0 on the year thanks to an elite defense. No. 5 Buford is the team with the top-ranked defense in the state, per the Massey Ratings, however. The Wolves are now 4-1 after a 46-0 win at Discovery and already have a pair of ranked wins under their belt. They’ll offer the toughest test of the season for Collins Hill on Friday.
Massey Ratings Prediction: Buford 41, Collins Hill 14

#19 Lowndes vs. #20 Colquitt County — Friday, Oct. 4
Hurricane Helene led to a second consecutive week off for 5-0 Lowndes, which will finally return to the field on Friday for its biggest game of the season thus far against Colquitt County. The No. 19 Vikings are yet to allow more than two touchdowns in a game, though the No. 20 Packers will pose a tougher challenge than normal. Colquitt enters the matchup with a 3-2 record, though both of its losses have come against top-five teams in-state. Four of Colquitt’s final five games this season are currently against ranked opponents.
Massey Ratings Prediction: Colquitt County 42, Lowndes 27

#14 Camden County vs. #15 Valdosta — Saturday, Oct. 5
Camden County and Valdosta were also postponed last week due to the hurricane and altered their schedules, pushing the matchup back just one week. Both teams will enter undefeated at 5-0, with the Saturday tilt set to be the first ranked showdown for either team this season. Camden County enters with the No. 7 offense in the state while Valdosta checks in at No. 16, per the Massey Ratings. Both defenses face a tough task in the coming days.
Massey Ratings Prediction: Valdosta 35, Camden County 34
