Georgia High School Football Scores: Gainesville wins big on Thursday

The seventh week of the 2024 high school football season in Georgia is already underway, as games and schedules are all over the place due to the incoming Hurricane Helene.

Some matchups have been postponed for later in the season, while others opted to move kickoffs up or back a couple of days. Plenty of action is still set to go down this weekend.

Below are how the top teams in the Peach State have fared in the final weekend in September.

The On3 Massey Ratings — officially used during the BCS era and generated college high school sports team rankings since 1995 — rank sports teams by analyzing game outcomes, strength of schedule, and margin of victory.
