IMG Academy, the 22nd-best high school football team last year, released its schedule for the 2025-2026 season. The Florida-based program will face some of the top programs in the nation, which amount to over 12,000 travel miles.

The Ascenders will play eight of their 11 games on the road. They will start the season on August 15 against The First Academy and travel to Alabama to face Hoover one week later. The Buccaneers, IMG Academy’s Week 2 opponents, are the seventh-best team in the Alabama On3 Composite Team Rankings.

The Ascenders’ high school football season continues with an August 28 schedule against Winslow Township, New Jersey’s fourth-best team. After which, IMG Academy will take a one-week break before playing against Coronado, Nevada’s fifth-best team.

IMG Academy will head back to Florida and face Mandarin on September 19. A week later, they will return to Alabama to play against Phenix City Central, the state’s fourth-best team. On October 3, the Ascenders will return to their home state to compete against second-ranked Venice.

Then, their high school football campaign continues with their first home game this season, facing the United Kingdom’s NFL Academy on October 17, which is also their Senior Night. Eight days later, they will have another home game against East St. Louis, Illinois’ No. 1 team.

On November 1, the Ascenders will hit the road again to face The Hun School, New Jersey’s ninth-best school. Finally, they will close their season on November 7 in a home game against St. Frances Academy, Maryland’s third-best squad.

IMG Academy closed the 2024 season as Florida’s fourth-best team. They concluded their campaign with a 7-2 record, having beaten some powerful teams, including Bergen Catholic, Cocoa, and Venice. However, their two losses came against Utah’s Corner Canyon, the nation’s eighth-best team, and St. Frances Academy.
