Indiana High School Boys Basketball Rankings: On3 Composite Top 25 Teams - February 26

The top 25 teams in the Indiana On3 Composite Rankings are gearing up for the Indiana high school boys basketball playoffs. It’s the time when they can prove that they deserve to be regarded among the state’s best squad. With three of them included in the nationwide top 100, these teams have a good shot of becoming state champions.

The On3 Composite High School Basketball Team Rankings is a proprietary algorithm that compiles rankings listed in the public domain by respected High School media and data companies. It includes Massey, Max Preps, Cal Preps, ESPN, and SI, creating the most comprehensive and geographically balanced High School Team Ranking.

1. Fishers

The Tigers remained undefeated throughout the 2024-25 Indiana high school boys basketball season. They dominated North Central in their last game, 86-56, despite being the road team. The Tigers will proceed to the Section 8 playoffs, wherein they will face Westfield on March 4.

2. Cathedral

The Fighting Irish closed the regular season at 19-4 after defeating Zionsville 55-47, extending their winning streak to ten games. Their next game will be against Indianapolis Bishop Chatard in Section 26 of the Class 3A playoffs on March 4.

3. Greenfield-Central

After losing to Lawrence Central on February 14, the Cougars have won back-to-back games. Their latest triumph was a 102-62 domination of Martinsville, wherein Braylon Mullins scored 52 points and collected eight rebounds. Greenfield-Central will close the regular season against Perry Meridian on February 26 before heading into the Class 4A Section 9 playoffs.

4. Westfield

The Shamrocks closed the regular season with a six-game winning streak after defeating Mt. Vernon 62-58. They will head to the Class 4A Section 8 playoffs, wherein they will face top-ranked Fishers. A win over the Tigers will improve their record to 19-4.

5. Avon

The Orioles bounced back from their overtime loss to Noblesville via a 63-16 blowout of Peru. Jedidah Minnett led the way with 21 points and five rebounds, while DeAndre Lott-Hancock and Keriawn Berry added ten points apiece. Avon will play Indianapolis Shortridge before facing Brownsburg in the Indiana high school boys basketball Class 4A Section 11 playoffs.

6. Lawrence North

The Wildcats extended their winning streak to three games after defeating Hamilton Southeastern 76-60. They have improved their record to 18-6 before facing Lawrence Central in the Class 4A Section 10 playoffs on March 4.

7. Noblesville

The Millers earned back-to-back victories against Avon and Mississinewa. While Noblesville needed overtime to defeat the Orioles, they handily defeated the Indians 83-32. Those victories improved the Millers’ record to 17-5 before clashing with Carmel in the Class 4A Section 8 playoffs.

8. Ben Davis

Make that two consecutive losses for the Giants after falling short against Cathedral 66-53. Despite the losing effort, Jashawn Ladd scored 12 points, while Sherman Moss, Tavion Willams, and Kaleb Milan had eight points each. Ben Davis can bounce back by defeating the Crispus Attucks Tigers on February 26.

9. Mt. Vernon

The Marauders are still among Indiana high school boys basketball’s top ten despite losing to Westfield. Luke Ertel had 21 points, eight rebounds, and four assists, while Tanner Teschendorf added 12 points, six rebounds, and three steals. Mt. Vernon will face Yorktown on February 28 before heading into the sectional playoffs.

10. New Palestine

The Dragons’ last game resulted in a 71-59 loss to Mt. Vernon. Julius Gizzi finished with 30 points, five rebounds, and two assists in the losing cause, while Moses Haynes added 11. New Palestine can bounce back by defeating Warren Central on February 27 before heading into the Class 3A sectional playoffs.
