1. Fishers

The clear top team in the state and one of the top programs in the nation, Fishers remains undefeated at 22-0 ahead of a couple of big ranked matchups. It’ll take on No. 24 Zionsville this Friday before heading to No. 10 North Central on Feb. 25. Elite sophomore point guard Jason Gardner Jr. helps power the top-ranked Tigers.

2. Cathedral

Over in Indianapolis, Cathedral is now 16-4 on the season ahead of a monster tilt against top-10 Ben Davis this weekend. The Fighting Irish put up 101 points last time out in a 43-point win over East Chicago Central and continue to look elite. They rank No. 52 nationally.

3. Greenfield-Central

Greenfield-Central saw its 11-game winning streak come to an end last time out as it fell 79-70 to Lawrence Central. Now 18-3 on the year, the Cougars still remain in prime position to make some noise when the postseason rolls around. They take on East Central on Friday night.

4. Avon

Now sitting at 18-2 on the year, Avon has won five games in a row following a non-competitive defeat to top-ranked Fishers. The Orioles are one of the top defensive teams in the state and have given up more than 50 points just four times this season.

5. Westfield

All three of Westfield’s defeats this season have come at the hands of ranked opponents, including No. 1 Fishers and No. 4 Avon. In its 16 wins, Westfield has held teams to less than 50 points 11 times. The Shamrocks return to action on Friday at Franklin Central.

6. Lawrence North

Lawrence North is maneuvering through a challenging part of its schedule and is now coming off losses to No. 1 Fishers and top-10 Ben Davis. The Wildcats out of Indianapolis are now 14-6 this season and will look to get back on track at Pike this weekend.

7. Brownstown Central

Brownstown Central remains perfect on the year at 18-0. Despite playing a much lighter schedule than many of the other top teams in the state, BCHS is handling its business and won’t be an easy out come tournament time. They take on No. 15 Jeffersonville in a big test this weekend.

8. New Palestine

New Palestine is on a 13-game winning streak and is now 20-2 on the season. The Dragons are able to beat teams with both offense and defense and have picked up multiple impressive wins away from home this campaign. A ranked bout against No. 12 Mt. Vernon looms this weekend.

9. Noblesville

Noblesville is looking to rebound from a disappointing 3-point loss to Brownsburg last weekend. Now 15-5 on the year, the Miners take on No. 4 Avon this weekend in their final big test before the postseason. They won 10 in a row prior to the Brownsburg defeat.

10. Ben Davis

Rounding out the top 10 with a 15-6 record, Indianapolis Ben Davis has now lost three of its last five games, the most recent of which was a 55-50 loss to Lawrence Central. The Giants still posses the talent to make a run in the postseason and will look to get back on the right track this weekend against No. 2 Cathedral.
