Many of California’s top high school basketball programs are set to take part in a marquee event later this week at the Intuit Dome, the new home to the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Trinity-Mission League Showcase will take place this Friday, Jan. 10 and will feature seven games inside the high-tech arena. Of the 14 teams that will be in Inglewood, seven are ranked as top-20 teams in the state, according to the On3 Composite Rankings.

Headlining the festivities will be the final two games of the day. Mater Dei (No. 13 in Calif.) and St. John Bosco (No. 1) will renew their rivalry on the court, then Notre Dame (No. 5) and Sierra Canyon will round things out in a national top-40 clash.

Many of the nation’s top prospects across the 2025 and 2026 recruiting cycles are set to take the court, too. Nine blue-chippers are featured throughout the 14 rosters, including Duke small forward signee Nikolas Khamenia, USC shooting guard signee Elzie Harrington, 2026 No. 1 prospect Brandon McCoy, No. 2 prospect Tyran Stokes and No. 9 prospect Christian Collins.

The Intuit Dome opened on Aug. 15 last year, giving the Clippers their own home away from the Los Angeles Lakers. The $2 billion venue has already hosted multiple other events, in addition to Clippers games. It’s also slated to host games during the 2028 Summer Olympics.

“We’re going to try to make this the most intimate, exciting place in the world to watch a basketball game,” Clippers owner Steve Ballmer told ESPN ahead of the Intuit Dome’s opening. “And I think we’re there. On the 23rd of October when we open, that will be validated.”

The Clippers have played 18 home games so far this season. Some of the top high-school hoopers in the Golden State will get a chance to make plays on the shiny new hardwood later this week.
