Kate Harpring, Oliviyah Edwards among USA Basketball Women's Junior National Team minicamp invitees

Kate Harping and Oliviyah Edwards lead a group of 45 girls that USA Basketball invited to their National Team Minicamp. These girls basketball standouts will participate in a three-day camp in Tampa, Florida.

Harpring, a point guard from Georgia’s Marist High School, is the second-best prospect from the Class of 2026, based on the On3 Industry Ranking. The daughter of former National Basketball Association player Matt Harpring is a finalist for the Naismith High School Girls Basketball Player of the Year.

Kate Harpring was also Georgia’s Gatorade Player of the Year after averaging 32.2 points, 10.6 rebounds, 5.1 steals, 3.7 steals, and 1.2 blocks per game. She and the War Eagles reached the Georgia Class 4A state semifinals.

Furthermore, she is part of the 2024-25 All-Georgia First Team. Coming into her final year of high school basketball, Harping has already received college basketball offers from Georgia Tech, Georgia, Alabama, Iowa, Maryland, and South Carolina.

Joining Kate Harpring in the Women’s Junior National Team Minicamp is Edwards, ranked sixth among the Class of 2026 prospects. The 6-foot-3 power forward from Elite Sports Academy has received offers from Washington, South Carolina, LSU, UCLA, USC, and Oklahoma. Edwards and Harpring are part of the Naismith Girls High School All-America Second Team.

Other camp invitees from the Class of 2026 include Addison Bjorn, Brihanna Crittendon, Autum Fleary, and Bella Flemings. Completing the class are Maddyn Greenway, Jayla Jackson, Olivia Jones, Trinity Jones, Ashlyn Koupal, Lola Lampley, Isabella Ragone, and Oumou Thiero.

Meanwhile, those invited from the Class of 2027 are the following: Haylen Ayers, Jazman Bailey, Caroline Bradley, Ryan Carter, Harper Dunn, Khalia Hartwell, Eve Long, Ashley MacCalla, De’Andra Minor, Jemini Mitchell, Sydney Mobley, Micah Ojo, Qandace Samuels, Kaleena Smith, Nation Williams, and Ivanna Wilson Manyacka.

Making the cut from the Class of 2028 are Makynli Bacon, Love Lei Best, Amel Cook, Sydney Douglas, Jakaila Gaskin, Tatianna Griffin, Jhaliana Guy, Jordyn Haywood, Belle Hill, Amy Nouka, Ella Peper, Morghan Reckley, and Arianna Robinson. Finally, joining Kate Harping and company are incoming sophomores Jayden McClain and Carib Morris.
