The final regular season week of high school football has arrived in Kentucky, and after another exciting weekend of games, the latest top-25 rankings have been updated.

Boyle County continues to sit atop the list, but there’s no shortage of teams jockeying behind them as the postseason looms.

Below are the full Kentucky top-25 rankings, per the On3 Massey Ratings:

The On3 Massey Ratings — which were officially used during the BCS era and have generated college high school sports team rankings since 1995 — rank sports teams by analyzing game outcomes, strength of schedule and margin of victory.

1. Boyle County

Previous Rank: No. 1

The Rebels are 9-0 and one game away from an undefeated regular season after blowing out Wayne County 55-0 on Friday night. Now they’ll close the regular season at home against No. 9 Fredrick Douglass.

2. Trinity

Previous Rank: No. 2

The Shamrocks finish the regular season at 8-2 after dominating Oldham County 42-0 over the weekend, and they’ll have a bye this week before the start of the playoffs.

3. Louisville Male

Previous Rank: No. 3

Louisville Male got a bit of a scare from a good Bullitt East team on Friday, but ultimately prevailed 30-20 to move to 8-1 on the season. That sets up a huge game against No. 5 Dupont Manual this week.

4. St. Xavier

Previous Rank: No. 5 (+1)

After dropping a 29-22 heartbreaker to Dupont Manuel three weeks ago, St. Xavier has reeled off consecutive wins over Meade County and Pleasure Ridge Park to get to 6-3. They’ll end the season with a big game as well, hosting No. 14 Bowling Green.

5. Dupont Manual

Previous Rank: No. 4 (-1)

The Crimson made easy work of Meade County on Friday, rolling to a 42-14 blowout win. Now sitting at 8-1, they have a chance to gain some huge momentum heading into the playoffs if they can pull off the upset of Louisville Male.

6. Cooper

Previous Rank: No. 7 (+1)

The Jaguars completely overwhelmed Boone County last week in a 48-14 demolition of the home squad, then followed it up by blowing out Dixie Heights 63-21. They’re idle this week and will enter the postseason 10-0.

7. Franklin County

Previous Rank: No. 8 (+1)

The Flyers’ dream season continues after blowing out Western Hills 59-0. Franklin County has outscored its last four opponents by a combined score of 200-27 and will look to finish the year unblemished by beating George Rogers Clark this weekend.

8. Paducah Tilghman

Previous Rank: No. 6 (-2)

Paducah Tilghman remains undefeated after blitzing winless Calloway County 63-0 on Friday night. The Blue Tornado have been dominant all year while rolling to a 9-0 record. They’ll look to finish strong with a win at Russellville this week.

9. Frederick Douglass

Previous Rank: No. 9

After losing two of their first three games, the Broncos have now won 5 of 6 heading into a massive showdown with No. 1 Boyle County this weekend. A win won’t be easy, but would provide a massive momentum boost going into playoff time.

10. Ryle

Previous Rank: No. 11 (+1)

Ryle enters this week’s top 10 after an impressive 37-0 victory on Simon Kenton on Friday night. The Raiders boast one of the state’s best defenses, per the On3 Massey Ratings, something that could be big with the playoffs looming.
