Kentucky On3 High School Boys Basketball Composite Rankings Top 25 - Feb. 26

The push for the Sweet 16 at Rupp Arena continues in the Kentucky high school basketball 2024-25 season.

The On3 Composite Rankings have once again updated, shaking things up in the Bluegrass. St. Xavier and Great Crossing continue to hold the top two spots in the commonwealth.

Below is a look at the updated Kentucky high school boys basketball top 25, as of Feb. 26:

1. St. Xavier

Now 27-2 this season, St. Xavier is coming off a 101-35 thrashing of Brown and has now won 16 games in a row. Up next for the Tigers is a big Louisville clash against Male this weekend. St. X ranks as the No. 44 team nationally.

2. Great Crossing

Great Crossing continues to thrash its competition, with the latest example coming via a 74-35 win over Frankfort. The Warhawks put up 99 points the game before in a 62-point win over Madison Southern. Behind Kentucky center signee Malachi Moreno, GC has won 19 in a row and now has a 27-4 record.

3. Frederick Douglass

Frederick Douglass now has a 22-3 record this season following a pair of wins over Sayre and a thumping of Tates Creek. The Broncos have been the top team in Lexington all season and possess one of the state’s top overall offenses.

4. Covington Catholic

After picking up a 66-61 win over Madison Central last time out, Covington Catholic now has a 21-8 record and has won six of its last eight games. The Colonels check in just outside of the top-250 nationally this week.

5. Dupont Manual

Now 23-5, Dupont Manual is another top program out of Louisville this season. The Crimson have now won seven games in a row following an impressive 82-27 demolition of Portland Christian. No. 3 Frederick Douglass was the last team to defeat Dupont Manual.

6. Marshall County

Marshall County is 27-1 with its latest win coming earlier this week over Christian Fellowship, 90-56. The Marshals won their first 23 games of the season and will be a tough out come tournament time next month.

7. George Rogers Clark

George Rogers Clark has now tallied 161 points across its last two games, rolling past both Scott County and Paris. The Cardinals are 25-4 and have now won five games in a row. GRC is the No. 401 team nationally.

8. South Oldham

South Oldham has now won eight games in a row following a 77-56 win over Oldham High earlier this week. Now 26-4 this season, the Dragons have a big one coming up this weekend at North Oldham on Friday night.

9. Cooper

Cooper has now won 13 of its last 14 games after taking down Dixie Heights 61-52 last week. The Jaguars opened the year with a 4-3 record but now sit at 18-5 overall ahead of the final postseason push. They take on Boone County this week.

10. Bryan Station

An uncharacteristic 56-34 loss to Woodford County ended a three-game winning streak for Bryan Station last week. The Defenders sit at 22-6 overall and will look to get back in the win column on Wednesday night with an all-Lexington clash against Henry Clay.
