Los Angeles Chargers donated uniforms to California high school football team

The Los Angeles Chargers helped a California high school football team by donating uniforms. Coincidentally, Agoura High School’s moniker is also the Chargers, making them the appropriate recipient of this football apparel.
The team expressed via a post on X/Twitter, “We are beyond grateful to the @chargers for their generous donations to our program. Using the BEST uniforms in pro sports we are blessed to be able to outfit our players and future A-town Chargers for years to come.” They also mentioned Chargers Director of Football Operations Zac Emde for making this possible.
Based on the pictures shared, the Agoura Chargers received powder blue and white practice jerseys. Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Chargers also sent athletic pants of gold, white, and dark blue.
Getting uniforms from the Chargers could inspire this California high school football team to perform better next season. While Agoura High School finished with a 9-2 record in 2024, they lost to Glendora in Round 1 of the CIF Division 6 Southern Section tournament.

Still, they are on the right track because that’s their second consecutive winning season after finishing 1-9 in 2022-23. Dustin Croick led Agoura to three winning seasons since taking over from Kamran Salem in 2020.
Meanwhile, the Chargers’ charitable act follows the initiative done by the Los Angeles Rams and the San Francisco 49ers for high school football teams within their area. The Rams, through quarterback Matthew Stafford, donated football uniforms and equipment to Pasadena High School. The school, like a large part of California, are still recovering from the massive wildfire that lasted for nearly a month.
Likewise, the 49ers, through their 49ers PREP program, donated over $20,000 worth of equipment to three California high school football teams: Kathleen MacDonald, Wilcox, and Santa Clara High. The Niners’ donations include lineman chutes, hop-over bags, and two-man LEV sleds which could be costly for these programs.
