Louisiana High School Football Rankings: Top 25 teams – Nov. 4
The top of the Louisiana high school football rankings remains unchanged following the first weekend of November.
The top seven teams in the top 25 rankings remain exactly the same with a slight shakeup near the bottom of the top 10.
Below are the state’s updated top 25 teams, according to the On3 Massey Ratings.
The On3 Massey Ratings — which were officially used during the BCS era and have generated college high school sports team rankings since 1995 — rank sports teams by analyzing game outcomes, strength of schedule and margin of victory.

1. Edna Karr
Edna Karr improved to 9-1 on the season over the weekend with a 35-14 road win over then-No. 14 John Curtis. The Cougars will close out the regular season this Thursday at home against No. 7 Archbishop Rummel.
2. Ruston
Ruston dropped its first two games of the season on consecutive weeks in late October, but the Bearcats bounced back over the weekend with a 49-0 shutout of Pineville. They will look to hold onto that momentum as three-score favorites at No. 18 West Monroe.
3. Acadiana
Acadiana picked up another blowout win over the weekend, beating Sam Houston 59-7 — the Rams bouncing back from a 14-6 loss to No. 8 St. Thomas More the previous week. Acadiana will close out the regular season on the road this Friday against Carencro.
4. Neville
A 27-14 win over No. 18 West Monroe pushed Neville to 10-0 on the year. The Tigers have pulled off a couple of upsets this season — beating St. Thomas More and Ruston as underdogs. Neville will play at No. 5 Alexandria this week.
5. Alexandria
Alexandria is also undefeated on the year heading into its clash of unbeatens with No. 4 Neville. The Trojans upset No. 2 Ruston 40-36 two weeks ago before beating Ouachita Parish 55-12 last weekend.
6. Baton Rouge Catholic
Baton Rouge Catholic has lost just once this season, falling 27-21 to No. 21 University Lab back on Sept. 20. Since then, Catholic has rattled off five consecutive wins, including a 42-0 victory against Woodlawn last Friday. No. 10 Zachary is on deck.
7. Archbishop Rummel
Archbishop Rummel has gotten here by pulling off three upsets, per the On3 Massey Ratings. Rummel has beaten Lafayette Christian Academy, John Curtis and St. Augustine as underdogs. Its lone loss came to Brother Martin in early October. The Raiders beat Jesuit 42-7 last week and will play on the road at No. 1 Edna Karr this Thursday.

8. St. Thomas More (+1)
St. Thomas More pulled off a major upset two weeks ago when it knocked off No. 3 Acadiana 14-6. The Cougars followed that win up with a 48-34 victory against No. 13 Teurings Catholic last Friday. They will finish up against North Vermilion this Friday.
9. Baton Rouge Central (+4)
Since losing to Baton Rouge Catholic on Oct. 18, Baton Rouge Central has beaten Liberty Magnet and upset No. 10 Zachary 14-3. The Wildcats will play Scotlandville Magnet this weekend.
10. Zachary (-2)
Zachary is reeling from an upset loss to Baton Rouge Central last week and will look to recover at home against Baton Rouge Catholic this Thursday. The loss to Central was Zachary’s second of the year, having lost to No. 3 Acadiana in September.
