Top high school basketball players from around the country are set to take the court on Tuesday for the boys’ and girls’ McDonald’s All-American games.

The games, which started in 1978, feature 48 of the best prep ballers in the country — split up into teams East and West for a pair of games at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. This year’s games will tip off on Tuesday, April 1 with the girls’ game starting at 6:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2, followed by the boys’ game at 9:00 p.m. ET on ESPN.

Times: Girls’ Game (6:00 p.m. ET), Boys’ Game (9:00 p.m. ET)
Location: Barclays Center (Brooklyn, NY)
TV/Stream: ESPN2, ESPN, ESPN App

While each year features its own star power, the groups of players participating in 2025 have as much of that as any in recent memory. The boys’ rosters feature all of the top 10 players in the On3 Industry Recruiting Rankings, headlined by No. 1 overall recruit AJ Dybantsa (BYU signee). He is joined on a loaded West squad by Kansas signee Darryn Peterson (No. 3), future North Carolina Tar Heel Caleb Wilson (No. 6), Houston signee Chris Cenac (No. 5), Arizona commit Koa Peat (No. 7) and Louisville signee Mikel Brown (No. 9), among others.

On the East side, they’ll be led by No. 2 overall prospect and Duke signee Cam Boozer, unsigned forward Nate Ament (No. 4 overall), Arkansas signee Darius Acuff (No. 10), fellow Blue Devil Cayden Boozer (No. 24), and Houston signee Isiah Harwell (No. 12).

All told, the game will feature all 14 of the prospects currently ranked as five-star recruits by the four major recruiting services: On3, 247Sports, ESPN and Rivals.

McDonald’s All-American girls’ game features loaded group as well

There is no shortage of star power on the girls’ side either, with consensus No. 1 recruit and recent Oklahoma commit Aaliyah Chavez as the headliner.

Chavez is coming off a senior season where she led her team to a state title and was named both the Gatorade and Naismith High School Girls Basketball Player of the Year. She will represent the West squad, along with USC signee Jazzy Davidson (No. 2 overall), UCLA’s Sienna Betts (No. 3), future LSU Tiger Grace Knox (No. 7) and eight other prospects ranked among the top-32 nationally.

The East team includes top-5 overall recruits Aaliyah Crump (Texas) and Agot Makeer (South Carolina), as well as Stanford five-star signee Hailee Swain, LSU’s ZaKiyah Johnson and Tennessee’s Deniya Prawl.
