Mississippi High School Football Playoffs: State Champions crowned
The 2024 Mississippi high school football postseason has now concluded across all seven classifications in the Mississippi High School Athletic Association (MHSAA).

Class 7A Championship
For the first time since 1992, Tupelo High are state champions. Junior running back JJ Hill rushed for 22 yards and a pair of touchdowns, carrying the Golden Wave — who never trailed in Hattiesburg. The win brings Tupelo its second ever state title.

Class 5A Championship
West Point — 28
Gautier — 21
West Point combined for 263 rushing yards, 168 of which came via Shamane Clark, who also found pay dirt on three occasions. The Green Wave took a 21-7 lead into halftime and held off Gautier, which scored the final 14 points of the game. The win was West Point’s 13th state title.

Noxubee County — 27
Ole Miss five-star wide receiver signee Caleb Cunningham finishes his high school career as a champion. He took a screen pass 40 yards to the house in the third quarter for a monumental touchdown. Mississippi State four-star quarterback signee KaMario Taylor threw for 151 yards and a touchdown for Noxubee, which has now lost its last five state title appearances. The win was Choctaw’s first-ever state title.
