The Golden Wave have notable wins over No. 23 Oxford, No. 19 West Point and No. 3 Madison Central.
2. Brandon
Brandon took down No. 8 Oak Grove in a battle of top-10 teams last Friday, winning 31-27 over the Warriors. The Bulldogs have put together an impressive resume consisting of wins against No. 19 West Point, No. 13 Picayune, No. 3 Madison Central, No. 17 Warren Central, No. 15 Gulfport and No. 22 Petal. The Bulldogs still have No. 14 Northwest Rankin on the schedule, but this week will host Pearl.

4. Jackson Prep (+2)
Jackson Prep keeps on rolling, now 9-0 on the season after a huge road win at No. 16 Hartfield. The Patriots were the higher-ranked team going in but slight Massey Ratings underdogs. Jackson defeated Hartfield 51-45. Up next is a top-10 matchup with No. 6 Madison-Ridgeland.
5. Grenada
Grenada still has just one loss on the season after dismantling Olive Branch 42-0 on Friday. The Chargers lost to No. 8 Oak Grove to open the season but have since rattled off eight consecutive wins. Center Hill comes to town this Friday.
6. Madison-Ridgeland Academy (+1)
Madison-Ridgeland improved to 7-1 after beating Jackson Academy 24-14 on the road. The Patriots have lost to just Pulaski Academy (Ark.) this year while collecting wins against No. 8 Oak Grove and No. 16 Hartfield Academy. As we mentioned above, Madison-Ridgeland has a huge game on deck on the road at No. 4 Jackson Prep.
7. Starkville (-3)
