Week 6 of the high school football season in Missouri featured some big-time matchups, a few of which have had a dramatic effect on the latest top-25 rankings.

The top two teams in the state still are atop the list, but there’s been plenty of movement up and down elsewhere.

Heading into Week 7, here are the top 25 teams in the Show-Me State.

The On3 Massey Ratings — which were officially used during the BCS era and have generated college high school sports team rankings since 1995 — rank sports teams by analyzing game outcomes, strength of schedule and margin of victory.

1. Lee’s Summit North

Previous: No. 1
The Broncos got one of their toughest tests of the season Friday night at Blue Springs South, ultimately prevailing 36-28 in a hard-fought game. There’s no rest this week though, as they’ll travel to face Liberty North in a game the home team is favored to win by four points.

2. Nixa

Previous: No. 2
Nixa continues to roll past its opponents in the southeast part of the state, crushing Kickapoo 48-13 a week after hanging 56 points on Lebanon. The Eagles are projected to win each of their next three games by more than 40, per the On3 Massey Ratings.

3. Christian Brothers College

Previous: No. 5 (+2)
CBC makes a big move into the No. 3 spot after beating Nashville’s Lipscomb Academy 37-23 on Friday night. Up next, they’ll head northeast to face Peoria power Notre Dame in two weeks.

4. Cardinal Ritter College Prep

Previous: No. 4
The Lions had the week off after blowing out Lift for Life Academy 50-16 last weekend. They’ll get a test on Friday though, hosting Kansas top-25 team Bishop Miege before a top-10 showdown against DeSmet the following week.

5. Lee’s Summit

Previous: No. 7 (+2)
Lee’s Summit rocked Park Hill South 50-10, and in the process moved itself into the top five of this week’s rankings. After games against Ray-Pec (0-6) and Staley (1-5), they’ll face crosstown rival Lee’s Summit North in a huge battle on October 25.

6. Rockhurst

Previous: No. 3 (-3)
The Hawklets suffered their first loss of the season in a 30-13 upset at the hands of Blue Springs. They won’t have a ton of time to regroup though with a game against Kansas No. 1 St. Thomas Aquinas on Friday.

7. Liberty North

Previous: No. 8
North’s offense continues to put up huge numbers — scoring a combined 113 points in the past two games. But three top-15 matchups await over the next three weeks, beginning with No. 1 Lee’s Summit North on Friday.

8. Blue Springs South

Previous: No. 6 (-2)
The Jaguars also dropped their first game of the year on Friday in a tough 36-28 loss to No. 1 Lee’s Summit North. But much like Rockhurst, they will have to rebound quickly with a road test at No. 15 Liberty on Friday.

9. Kearney

Previous: No. 11 (+2)
Kearney jumps into the top 10 for the first time this season after dropping Grain Valley 29-6. The Bulldogs defense has been stout, holding all six of their opponents under 17 points.

10. DeSmet

Previous: No. 10
The Trojans dropped their first game of the season two weeks ago to No. 3 CBC, but after the bye week, they responded with a 44-7 beatdown of rival Chaminade. Up next is a tough road test at undefeated Festus before a top-10 showdown with Cardinal Ritter in two weeks.
