1. Columbus (Fla.)
Previous Ranking: No. 1
Improving to 21-3 on the season earlier this week, Columbus, led by twin Duke signees Cameron and Cayden Boozer, stomped Barbara Goleman Senior 127-42. There’s no denying the Explorers’ status as the nation’s No. 1 program, as they own wins over No. 19 Wheeler, No. 16 Dynamic Prep, No. 9 Gonzaga, No. 13 Grayson, No. 14 IMG Academy and No. 10 Montverde.
2. Harvard-Westlake (Calif.)
Previous Ranking: No. 2
Harvard-Westlake was considered the top dog in California heading into the season and that’s rang true to this point. The Wolverines are now 27-1 on the season. They’ve already won three games in February, the latest of which was a tight 67-64 victory over No. 23 Sherman Oaks Notre Dame. Westlake is powered by Duke small forward signee Nikolas Khamenia.
3. William J. Brennan (Texas)
Previous Ranking: No. 4 (+1)
It’s been a monstrous offensive season for William J. Brennan, which continues to creep toward the No. 1 ranking. Now 27-2 this season, WJB has eclipsed 80 points in each of its last 10 games. The Bears are one of three Texas programs ranked this week. Houston point guard signee Kingston Flemings continues to look like one of the nation’s top prospects.
4. Roosevelt (Calif.)
Previous Ranking: No. 3 (-1)
After defeating Corona Centennial 83-51 earlier this week, Roosevelt now owns a 27-2 record this season. Behind top uncommitted combo guard Brayden Burries, who’s continued to play at an elite level, the Mustangs own wins over four teams who ranked inside the California state top 25,, including national No. 21 St. John Bosco.
5. Hoover (Ala.)
Previous Ranking: No. 8 (+3)
Make it 31-0 for the No. 1 team in the state of Alabama. Behind an impressive defense, Hoover continues to roll past its competition. Its latest two wins came by 21 points over Spain Park and 26 over Oak Mountain. The Buccaneers have over 10 victories against teams who ranked inside the Alabama state top 25. A perfect season is very much within arms reach.
6. Allen (Texas)
Previous Ranking: No. 7 (+1)
Allen now sits at 29-1 on the season following six consecutive performances of 80-plus points. Earlier this week, a top-10 battle in the state saw the Eagles mow over No. 8 Plano East 84-61. Only No. 3 William J. Brennan has bested Allen to this point. The Eagles are set to take on Rock Hill this Friday, followed by Plano High on Feb. 11.
7. Perry (Ariz.)
Previous Ranking: No. 5 (-2)
Currently the lone team in Arizona ranked in the national top 25, Perry continues to dominate behind elite uncommitted Five-Star Plus+ power forward Koa Peat. Only No. 1 Columbus and No. 2 Harvard-Westlake have defeated the Pumas to this point. Cruising through its in-state schedule, Perry looks to stay hot against Hamilton this Friday.

8. Paul VI Catholic (Va.)
Previous Ranking: No. 6 (-2)
Now at 18-5 this season, Paul VI Catholic continues to look like one of, if not the best program in the DMV this season. Playing a rigorous schedule, the Panthers have looked the part both offensively and defensively to this point. Junior five-star shooting guard Jordan Smith Jr. has been elite, while senior power forward Jaquan Womack has played a crucial role for PVI all campaign long.
9. Gonzaga (D.C.)
Previous Ranking: No. 10 (+1)
Heading into perhaps its biggest three-game stretch of the season, Gonzaga is right alongside Paul VI Catholic in the DMV discussion and is now 22-2 overall. Coming up for the Eagles, led by North Carolina combo guard signee Derek Dixon, are games against Archbishop Carroll, Bishop McNamara and national No. 20 DeMatha Catholic.
10. Montverde Academy (Fla.)
Previous Ranking: No. 11 (+1)
Now at 16-4 this season, Montverde Academy is back in the national top 10 following a 7-point win over top-30 Calvary Baptist Academy at the end of January.
