1. Columbus (Fla.)
Previous Ranking: No. 1
Columbus continues to leave no doubts about its status as the nation’s top program heading into February. The Explorers have played a stacked schedule and are now 17-3 after winning a top-ranked in-state battle over Montverde Academy, 79-59. Their résumé now includes ranked wins over No. 20 Wheeler, No. 13 Dynamic Prep, No. 10 Gonzaga, No. 17 Grayson, No. 18 IMG Academy and No. 11 Montverde. Twin Duke signees Cameron and Cayden Boozer continue to excel, as does junior small forward Jaxon Richardson.
2. Harvard-Westlake (Calif.)
Previous Ranking: No. 2
The illustrious Golden State program continues to look the part in 2025. Harvard-Westlake improved to 22-1 on the year following a big ranked victory over No. 24 Sherman Oaks Notre Dame on Friday night. Duke small forward signee Nikolas Khamenia and junior shooting guard Joe Sterling each had 18 points in the win. The Wolverines own a pair of national top-10 victories over No. 5 Perry and No. 10 Gonzaga to this point.
3. Roosevelt (Calif.)
Previous Ranking: No. 3
Roosevelt now checks in at 23-2 ahead of a big game against Las Vegas Bishop Gorman this weekend. The Mustangs suffered an 18-point loss to No. 10 Gonzaga earlier this week but have since rebounded, downing in-state Corona to the tune of an 88-38 blowout. They’ve defeated four teams who rank inside the California top 25 to date, including No. 9 St. John Bosco. Top uncommitted combo guard Brayden Burries continues to terrorize opposing defenses.
4. William J. Brennan (Texas)
Previous Ranking: No. 5 (+1)
One of three Texas teams in the updated top 25, William J. Brennan has now won 12 games in a row and has a 23-2 record overall. Across the Bears’ win streak, they are averaging a whopping 90 points per game. Star Houston point guard signee Kingston Flemings headlines the Brennan roster, which has picked up wins over the two Lone Star State teams ranked this week in No. 7 Allen and No. 13 Dynamic Prep.
5. Perry (Ariz.)
Previous Ranking: No. 6 (+1)
Perry now sits at 16-2 with its lone pair of defeats coming at the hands of Columbus and Harvard-Westlake, the top two teams in the nation. The Pumas look poised to run the table in the talent-rich state of Arizona and will take on Phoenix Brophy Prep this weekend. Top uncommitted power forward Koa Peat continues to dominate as he works toward a college decision.
6. Paul VI Catholic (Va.)
Previous Ranking: No. 19 (+13)
Paul VI Catholic makes a well-deserved jump into the top 10 nationally after piling up plenty of impressive wins across the last couple of weeks. The Panthers’ last two victories saw them defeat No. 9 St. John Bosco, then No. 21 DeMatha Catholic. PVI is now 14-2 overall and is eyeing another big game against No. 10 Gonzaga next week. Junior shooting guard Jordan Smith Jr. and senior power forward Jaquan Womack have starred for the Panthers thus far.
7. Allen (Texas)
Previous Ranking: No. 7
Allen improved to 25-1 on Friday night after steamrolling past Plano West, 102-60. The Eagles haven’t played as tough of a schedule as others in the national top 10, but they’ve dominated to this point, only losing to No. 4 William J. Brennan. They’ll round out January with games against Prosper, a top-40 program in the state, as well as McKinney Boyd.

They’ve glided by many of the other top teams across Alabama and the Southeast to this point. Tennessee center signee Dewayne Brown is a force in the paint and continues to roll for the top team in the Yellowhammer State.
9. St. John Bosco (Calif.)
Previous Ranking: No. 8 (-1)
St. John Bosco picked up a 10-point road win over Santa Margarita Catholic on Friday night and is now 20-3 this season. Two of the Braves’ three losses have come to nationally-ranked foes in No. 3 Roosevelt and No. 6 Paul VI Catholic. Star junior combo guard Brandon McCoy is finally back from injury and will provide a major boost to the Bosco roster for the back half of the campaign.
10. Gonzaga (D.C.)
Previous Ranking: No. 11 (+1)
Amidst a stout stretch of matchups, Gonzaga is off to a flying start, picking up wins over No. 3 Roosevelt and most recently St. Johns College, the No. 3 team in D.C.
