No. 17 Brewster Academy (N.H.) takes down 12th-ranked IMG Academy (Fla.)

A double-double from James Madison signee Preston Fowler lifted Brewster Academy (N.H.) to a 55-51 win over IMG Academy (Fla.) on Saturday afternoon at the Hoophall Classic in Springfield, Mass.

Fowler scored 17 points and brought down 15 rebounds — leading the Bobcats in both categories.

Stanford point guard commit Ebuka Okorie added 11 points of his own and Iowa State shooting guard signee Killyan Toure scored 10.

Notably, Brewster outscored IMG in second-chance points 12-0 en route to its 4-point win.

For IMG, five-star Arkansas signee Darius Acuff led with 20 points.

Brewster is the nation’s No. 17 program in America and the top-ranked team in New Hampshire, according to the On3 Composite Rankings. IMG ranks No. 12 nationally and No. 3 in Florida.

The Bobcats improved to 16-2 with the win, while IMG Academy fell to 14-4.
