Dominant programs are nothing new in high school football. Throughout its history, two schools have completed win streaks that stretched over 100 games. De La Salle (CA) won 151 consecutive games from 1992 to 2003, and Independence (NC) had a 109-game winning streak from 2000 to 2007.

However, the longest active winning streak in high school football belongs to Marion Local. The 11th-best team in the Ohio On3 Composite Team Rankings completed their 16-0 season with a 74-0 demolition of the Hillsdale Falcons.

That victory earned the Flyers their fourth consecutive Ohio Division 7 state championship and 15th overall. Likewise, their 64-game winning streak means they haven’t lost a game in four years. Therefore, some Marion Local players ended their high school football careers undefeated.

Meanwhile, Garden City has the second-longest active winning streak at 54. New York’s fourth-best team capped off the 2024-25 high school football season with a 31-28 victory over Sayville to win the New York Division III championship.

Third are the Phoebus Phantoms with a 48-game winning streak. The Phantoms completed a perfect 14-0 season after defeating Varina to win the Virginia Class 4 state championship. This result puts Phoebus third in the Virginia On3 Rankings behind Maury and Oscar Smith, which also had undefeated campaigns.
