Ohio QB Jahmeir Spain receiving Power 4 interest after staggering 8 TD game
Cincinnati Mt. Healthy quarterback Jahmeir Spain currently holds seven FBS offers from Group of 5 programs. After Friday’s night’s impressive showing, Spain is receiving some Power 4 attention.
Spain was 21-of-29 passing for 453 yards and an astonishing eight touchdowns in the Fighting Owls’ 62-35 win over Ross on Friday. Those eight scores are tied for second in the Ohio High School Athletic Association record book for single-game touchdown passes.
Saturday afternoon, WCPO’s Mike Dyer reported that Boston College was showing interest in Spain after his stellar performance.
